I am reaching out today to see if this might be something you would be able to assist us with, as we are currently dealing with an ongoing and somewhat complicated case involving the New Brunswick SPCA. During the investigation, there was a severe lack of professionalism exhibited by the Animal Protection Officers (APOs) who attended our farm, and unfortunately, since the seizure that took place on February 6th, we have been facing a significant lack of transparency regarding the costs and demands they expect us to cover while we await a scheduled court date. To provide you with more context and background, I have attached a copy of an email that I previously sent to Susan Holt concerning the disconnect within the SPCA Act. I genuinely hope that by bringing this matter to light, we can collectively drive the necessary changes that are deeply needed to better serve the residents of New Brunswick who may find themselves in similar challenging circumstances in the future.
